Kathmandu — Ride-hailing platform Tootle has launched a new subscription-based plan called “Tootle Pro”, offering zero commission rides for both bike and cab drivers in Nepal. The plan will be effective from May 20 (Jestha 6) and is expected to transform how drivers earn on the platform.

Under this new plan, riders can keep 100% of their income, paying only a monthly subscription fee instead of per-ride commission.

 Plan Details

  • Bike Riders: Rs. 999/month

  • Cab Drivers: Rs. 1,999/month

As an introductory offer, however, the subscription is currently available for:

  • Rs. 499 for bike riders

  • Rs. 999 for taxi drivers

Once subscribed, drivers won’t pay any commission on their rides for the whole month. The only extra deductions will be insurance and taxes, as per regulations.

Currently, Tootle charges 15% commission for bike rides and 12% for cab rides — making this plan a major shift in earning potential for regular drivers.

 What Tootle Says

Rubik Joshi, Managing Director of JYAP Services Pvt. Ltd. (Tootle’s parent company), called Tootle Pro a “game-changing initiative” that ensures transparency, income ownership, and work freedom for drivers.

The plan aims to support both part-time and full-time riders who want to maximize their earnings and are tired of losing money to commission cuts.

Tootle says Pro subscribers will enjoy:

  • Unlimited rides

  • Transparent pricing

  • 24/7 access to the platform

 How to Get Started

Interested riders can subscribe by downloading the Tootle app and choosing the Tootle Pro option within the platform.

With this move, Tootle hopes to empower its riders and create a more sustainable, driver-friendly ecosystem in Nepal’s competitive ride-hailing industry.
