Kathmandu – The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MoCIT) has announced the National ICT Awards 2025, inviting applications from individuals, institutions, and companies working in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).
The call was made public through an official notice on Sunday, giving interested applicants 15 days to submit their nominations.
Every year, the 2nd of May is celebrated as National Information and Communication Technology Day in Nepal. On this occasion, the government honors those who have made significant contributions to the development and promotion of ICT in the country.
Award Categories
The ministry will recognize excellence in eight categories this year:

| National ICT Excellence Award 2025 (Female) | One outstanding female contributor |
| National ICT Award 2025 – Public Sector | Government organizations |

| National ICT Award 2025 – Provincial & Local (Public) | Local and provincial govt offices |
| National ICT Award 2025 – Provincial & Local (Private) | Local and provincial ICT companies |
| National ICT Innovation Award 2025 | Tech innovators |
| National ICT Startup Award 2025 | Emerging tech startups |

Visit the MoCIT website or the Department of Information Technology website to download the application form or view the required format.

Fill in the form with all necessary details.

Submit the completed application via email to: ictaward@mocit.gov.np
OR
Submit the application in person at the ICT Section of the Ministry.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted by 7th Baisakh 2082 (April 19, 2025) before 5 PM.
