OpenAI is gearing up to launch a new feature called ChatGPT Contractors, designed to connect ChatGPT with other platforms for better data access and communication.
According to a TechCrunch report, OpenAI is set to begin beta testing of this enterprise tool soon. ChatGPT Contractors will enable the chatbot to integrate with third-party databases and communication platforms, allowing it to retrieve information and provide more relevant answers to users.
Initially, the feature will support Google Drive and Slack, with plans to expand to Microsoft SharePoint and Box in the future. It will allow ChatGPT to access text-based data, including files, presentations, spreadsheets, and Slack conversations.
Powered by the GPT-4o AI model, this feature will integrate internal knowledge from connected platforms, enhancing its ability to respond to user queries. Once activated in a ChatGPT Teams workspace, all team members will be able to benefit from its capabilities.
With this move, OpenAI aims to make ChatGPT a more powerful tool for businesses, streamlining access to important information across different platforms.
