Kathmandu — The 2025 Yamaha MT-15 has been launched with new color options and a few design updates, although there are no mechanical changes. This updated model was recently launched in Malaysia and promises an enhanced style and visual appeal.
The Yamaha MT-15 continues to feature a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 19.3 PS of power and 14.7 Nm of torque. The bike is mounted on a sturdy DeltaBox frame, complemented by a 37mm golden upside-down fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear.
For braking, the MT-15 comes equipped with a 282mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear, ensuring reliable stopping power. With a weight of 133 kg and a ground clearance of 155mm, it offers a balanced ride. The front tire is a 110-section, providing stability and grip, while the fuel tank has a 10-litre capacity.
In terms of features, the Yamaha MT-15 boasts a full LED lighting system. The negative full-digital display provides valuable data like gear position, shift light, real-time mileage, and Bluetooth connectivity. However, it lacks turn-by-turn navigation functionality.
On the safety front, the bike includes dual-channel ABS, a traction control system, a hazard light switch, and a side stand engine cut-off feature, ensuring a secure ride.
This updated MT-15 promises to deliver a perfect blend of style, performance, and safety for motorcycle enthusiasts.
